What TalentBird needs from you

Resume: We require you to use our format for your resume and profile, to provide suitable portfolio samples adequately representing your skills and appropriate references. Using our format, we help you to stick to the points that are of most interest to potential employers. Candidate resumes posted on Talentbird are all “confidential”. When a client requests an interview with you, Talentbird will provide your name and any necessary contact information. For additional “confidentiality” if you are currently employed, you should identify your current employer on your resume as “current employer – confidential”.

Contact Information: Provide Talentbird with your accurate contact information – address, phone number and email

Portfolio Samples: It is important that samples be uploaded without personal identification or contact information. At time of interview, you will be able to provide additional samples to a prospective employer. We recommend that you select samples representative of your best skills – for example, AutoCad and hand-sketching.

References: Please make sure that your references are appropriate and include adequate information – including Company, contact name, telephone number and email address. Your references will be checked.

Our Fee is paid by the client when they hire a candidate from our website or referred to them by Talentbird. There is no cost to the candidate. If you attempt to thwart this process by including personal contact information in your profile, resume, portfolio, etc. your file will be locked and employers will not be able to view information about you. We will delete contact information from your visible file and notify you. If you post contact information a second time, your file will be deleted from the database and you will be blocked from further access to post.

This site is for your benefit and for the benefit of employers looking for talent. Please do not abuse the site by posting inappropriate or illegal information or photos. If you do, your file will be locked and we will notify the appropriate authorities.

Private Notes

This information is visible only to Talentbird. This is where you tell us the names of companies to which you have already applied within the past year and where you have had interviews. Let us know if you will be unavailable for a period of time, so we can hold your file, or notify an interested employer about the delay.

Email us directly to let us know if you accept a position and with which company. This will prevent embarrassment for you and for us.

Rules

Rule 1: Offers of employment from a client and acceptance of a client's offer by a candidate MUST be communicated through Talentbird. If a Talentbird client contacts you directly or if you contact a Talentbird client directly, within a year of your introduction to that firm by Talentbird, and you accept an offer of employment directly from the client, you must notify Talentbird. We charge a very reasonable fee for our service, to which our clients have agreed. Please do not interfere with our process. Should you accept a position at a firm to which you have been introduced by Talentbird, without notifying Talentbird, and submitting the client's offer of employment, your acceptance of the offer, including salary information and start date, through Talentbird, you will be billed for the full amount of the fee plus any additional expenses incurred by Talentbird. This will not preclude Talentbird also seeking payment of the fee and expenses from the client.

Rule 2: Communication: We are helping you to find a job. You are required to copy Talentbird on any and all communications between you and our client.

Rule 3: You agree that employers will have access to your profile and your resume.

Rule 4: You will not post your resume in the portfolio section or include any document or information that identifies your name and contact information.

Rule 5: You agree that you will keep your information confirmed/updated on a regular basis. If you do not respond to an email reminder and your profile has not been confirmed/updated for more than 3 months, Talentbird will archive your file and it will not be visible to potential employers.

If you violate the rules, if you don't abide by this agreement, if you post inappropriate information in your profile, resume, etc. you will be deleted from the database and you will not be able to post again.
